The cigar your guests actually keep.
Custom wedding cigars with personalized bands for favors, groomsmen gifts, bachelor parties, and reception cigar bars. Hand-banded in our Wallington NJ studio with the couple's names, wedding date, monogram, or full-color artwork.
A favor that outlives the night.
Most wedding favors end up left on the table or thrown away within a week. Custom cigars are the exception. A premium cigar with the couple's names and wedding date on a hand-applied band gets photographed at the reception, tucked into a jacket pocket, and saved in a humidor for months before being smoked on an anniversary. Couples spend the same per favor as on personalized glassware or candles — but the moment of presentation creates a shared experience instead of a polite thank-you.

Every wedding moment.
Groomsmen gifts, reception favors, and bachelor party celebrations — each handled with dedicated guidance below.
Custom cigars for the big night.
A bachelor party cigar is not a wedding favor. It is not mild, it is not polite, and it is not meant to sit in a humidor for six months. Bachelor party cigars are meant to be lit the same night, smoked in a group, and remembered as the thing that made the night feel like an event and not just a dinner. The custom band with the groom's name turns the cigar from a purchase into a prop, a photograph subject, and an artifact the group passes around talking about for years.
The tone of a bachelor party cigar band can be as serious or funny as you want. Some best men order bands with the groom's face. Some put inside jokes in 4-point type that nobody can read without squinting. Some keep it clean: groom's name, event date, city. We print whatever you send us. Default to medium-to-full body cigars — bachelor party crowds typically lean toward stronger smokes. The Theodora Gordo at $18 and the Oliva Serie V Melanio at $16 are our two most popular bachelor picks.

Personalized cigars with each name.
A personalized cigar with a groomsman's name printed on the band is a gift that lives in three moments: the reveal when you hand it over, the smoke itself, and the band that ends up tucked inside a wallet or humidor for years. It signals that you chose something specific for each person, not a batch item with a generic tag. That distinction is the difference between a gift and a favor.
Individual name personalization is included at no extra cost. Send us the list of names and we produce a unique band for each groomsman. Most orders include the wedding date and a monogram shared across all bands, with only the groomsman's first name changing per cigar. Order 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding — individual name personalization adds 1 to 2 business days to the proof cycle because each band needs separate review.
Gift box options: individual cedar tubes at $4 each, 3-cigar cedar gift boxes at $12, and custom-engraved 5-cigar humidors at $45. Each box can be laser-engraved with the groomsman's name or initials. A typical groomsmen set runs 8 to 14 cigars (one per groomsman plus the groom, both fathers, and 2 to 4 extras) — combine with a cigar bar order to meet our 20-cigar minimum.

The favor guests actually keep.
Most wedding favors end up left on the table or thrown away within a week. Custom cigars are the exception. A premium cigar with the couple's names and wedding date on a hand-applied band gets photographed at the reception, tucked into a jacket pocket, and sometimes saved in a humidor for months before being smoked on an anniversary or special occasion. We regularly hear from guests who smoked their wedding cigar six months later and still had the band pinned to their corkboard.
Quantity formula: total adult guests × expected smoker percentage × 1.2 buffer. For a 150-guest wedding where 25 percent of adults will smoke, that's 150 × 0.25 × 1.2, or about 45 cigars. Round up to 60 for safety. Best mild option for non-smokers: the Perdomo Habano Connecticut Gordo at $12 — six years of oak barrel aging removes harshness, and the creamy vanilla notes pair well with champagne and wedding desserts.
Cigar bar setup: a dedicated table with cigars displayed in an open box, one cigar cutter per 4 guests, cedar matches, and a small card explaining each cigar's strength and flavor. Assign one attendant for the first 2 hours. Confirm in writing with your venue coordinator before ordering — outdoor cigar bars are permitted at most NJ, NY, CT, and PA wedding venues, but always check.

What couples ask first.
Quick answers to the most common wedding cigar questions. For anything we missed, call us at (201) 250-4376.
How do personalized wedding cigars work?
Choose your cigar, share your wedding details (names, date, monogram, colors), and we'll design a custom cigar band that matches your celebration. Each cigar arrives presentation-ready in premium packaging — perfect for guest favors, groomsmen gifts, or cigar bars.
When should I place my wedding cigar order?
We recommend placing your order at least 3–4 weeks before your wedding date. For large orders (100+ cigars) or complex custom designs, 6–8 weeks is ideal to ensure perfection.
Can you match my wedding colors and theme?
Yes. Our design team creates custom cigar bands that complement your wedding palette, stationery, and overall aesthetic. Send us your color codes, invitations, or mood board and we'll design accordingly.
What cigars do you recommend for a wedding with mixed guests?
For mixed groups, we recommend offering a mild-to-medium option (like the Perdomo Habano Connecticut or AVO Classic) alongside a fuller option (like the Theodora Gordo). This way, both new and experienced cigar smokers can enjoy the experience.
Do you offer sample packs before I commit to a large order?
Yes. We can prepare a curated sample pack of 3–5 cigars so you can taste and compare before finalizing your selection. Contact us to arrange your tasting pack.
Can I host a cigar bar at an outdoor wedding venue in NJ or NY?
Yes — outdoor cigar bars are permitted at most NJ, NY, CT, and PA wedding venues, but always confirm in writing with your venue coordinator before ordering. New Jersey Smoke-Free Air Act (SFAA) restricts smoking inside enclosed spaces but allows outdoor cigar service in clearly designated areas. Outdoor tented patios, garden lawns, and rooftop venues typically work without issue. Some indoor-only venues (historic mansions, ballrooms, museums) prohibit any tobacco on premises including outdoor patios — get the permit/approval question answered before paying your wedding cigar deposit. We can provide vendor liability documentation if your venue requests it.
Can you accommodate last-minute wedding cigar orders (2-3 weeks notice)?
Yes, but with reduced scope. Standard custom orders need 3-4 weeks; rush orders within 2-3 weeks are possible at a 25-40% surcharge and reduce to one design revision round (instead of three). For 10-day rush orders, we recommend reducing the scope to a 20-cigar groomsmen gift set (the minimum) rather than a full reception cigar bar — this keeps production tight and lets you keep the custom band quality high. From our Wallington NJ studio, 72-hour processing plus 2-day FedEx delivery is feasible for orders received with approved artwork by Tuesday morning. Call (201) 250-4376 to confirm feasibility for your specific date.
