Proof & Approval
Within 3 business days of receiving your files, we deliver a full-color digital proof showing the band wrapped around a representative cigar at 100% scale. You review on-screen and request changes — up to 3 revision rounds included at no extra cost; most clients approve on round 2. For 100+ cigar orders, we also mail a single physical printed band sample so you can verify color and finish in person.

Hand-Banding Production
Our team applies every band by hand using acid-free archival adhesive on paper stock we print in-house. Most custom cigar shops use a rotary banding machine — fast and cheap, but with visible glue seams and a 4 to 7 percent reject rate. Our hand-applied rejection rate is under 1 percent, and every band is perfectly centered on the wrapper seam.

Packaging & Presentation

Boveda 69% humidity packs in every package keep cigars stable in transit for up to 14 days. Premium upgrades include foil stamping, embossing, and laser engraving.

Your personalized cigars are shipped via insured FedEx ground or overnight carrier. Standard processing is 72 hours, with delivery in 2 to 7 business days depending on location. Adult signature (21+) required upon delivery in all states except Utah, where we cannot ship due to state tobacco regulations.

What to send for a perfect proof.
The best way to nail the proof on round one is to deliver well-prepared artwork from the start. Here are the file formats, color references, and design constraints we work with.

What artwork files work best for custom bands?
Vector files (.ai, .eps, .pdf) print sharpest at 2.25-inch band width. PNG and JPEG work but may pixelate on fine details. Use CMYK color mode — RGB files (web colors) shift slightly during print conversion. For photo bands, supply 300 DPI minimum at the band print size.
What if I don't have artwork ready?
Our in-house design team creates custom bands from scratch based on your vision — wedding monogram, company logo, or milestone celebration design — at no extra fee. Send us a brief description, mood board, or examples of styles you like, and we deliver 2-3 design directions for you to choose from before refinement.
How many revisions are included?
Up to 3 revision rounds at no extra cost. Most clients approve on round 2. Additional revisions beyond round 3 are billed at $75 per round. Production does not start until you sign off on the final proof and pay the 50% deposit.
