Despite this rich heritage, my own path led me into publishing, where I spent over two decades building bridges, cultivating connections, and forging lifelong friendships. Among these was Vecdi, a trusted collaborator since 2002 and one of the first advertisers in my magazine. Around the same time, a serendipitous meeting with Cano Ozgener, the visionary founder of CAO Cigars, reshaped my perspective. Cano taught me that cigars are not just about tobaccothey embody culture, lifestyle, and the unique bonds that bring people together.
